以下に示すメールは、TF-Direct.comから私に届いたものです。
メールの文面からTF-Direct.comが倒産の危機に直面していることが窺えます。
私は予約している商品があるので、商品が手元に届く前に倒産してしまったりしないかを危惧しています。

We admit that our worker didn't pack well for your package. We have punished them and asked them to pay more attention on your future package.
And due to the pandemic, things become complicated. Plus the shipping fee, packing material and the cost from workers is getting more and more expensive.
It's too hard to maintain our website's operation. We basically will be shutdown if the pandemic can't be killed.

The reason why we have to make the price 50% off is because we are facing more and more competitors.
They use the 'lower-price' trick to appeal customers. We are losing lots of customers already so we have to do something and follow their price.
But every coin has two side, this move will also do a big harm to us as well. That's why we keep saying we just can survive and maintain our website's operation. So we can't take more loss.

「TF-Direct.com」の梱包について

私はトランスフォーマーのフィギュアが好きでよく購入しています。
サードパーティー製のフィギュアもよく購入します。
サードパーティー製フィギュアの購入先は、以下に示す通りです。

(1) TF-Direct.com
(2) Robotkingdom.com
(3) TFSource.com
(4) BigBadToyStore.com

TF-Direct.comは梱包が丁寧だったので最近はTF-Direct.comからよく購入していました。
TF-Direct.comでは購入した商品の総額が2000ドル以上になると「VIP Member」になることができます。
「VIP Member」は商品を5%オフで購入することができます。
私は既に「VIP Member」になっていました。

商品の梱包レベルには以下に示す2種類があります。

[A] Regular packaging
[B] Upgrade to collectors's grade ([A]よりも5ドル高い)

2019年までは商品価格とは別に送料も払っていましたが、今は無料になっています。
商品価格とは別に送料を支払っていた時は商品の梱包は非常に丁寧で、きれいな状態で私のところに届いていました。
しかし、最近私のところに届いた届いた商品は[B]であっても、緩衝材による梱包はされなくなっています。
梱包状態は[A]も[B]も同じです。
私のところに届いた商品は緩衝材による梱包がされていなかったため、箱が大きく潰れてしまって、酷い状態でした。
そのことをTF-Direct.comに言うと、TF-Direct.comは梱包ミスがあったことは認めました。
但し、返品しても良いが、送料は顧客側で支払うべきだとTF-Direct.comは主張しています。
こちらに落ち度はないにも関わらず、何故顧客側が送料分の損失を被らないといけないのか非常に疑問です。

TF-Direct.com was packed carefully, so I often bought it from TF-Direct.com these days.

However, TF-Direct.com argues that you can return it, but the shipping cost must be paid by the customer.
I'm very skeptical why the customer has to incur a shipping loss, even though there is nothing wrong with this.
